Comprising the East Anglian counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire plus Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, the East of England has plenty of exciting visit options for the region's 250,000 plus school children.
Norfolk and Suffolk are excellent for schools wishing to undertake coastal field studies topics, while the Fens and the Broads are the perfect location for a exciting residential activity centres that mix everything from rock climbing and sailing to bushcraft. East of England school trips to the region's historical and cultural heritage affords schools the envious opportunity of being able to visit local venues of national importance. Everyone from the Romans through to the innovators of the Industrial Revolution left their mark on the East of England. FSC Flatford Mill
Visit FSC Flatford Mill for fun residential geography and biology trips at all ages. The centre is the first and original field study centre set up during the 1940’s, set amidst quintessentially English countryside of the Dedham Vale in Suffolk.
