WW1 Workshop

Historic Workshops

School Workshop

trip icon WW1 Workshops kicks off with an incredibly informative presentation, detailing the start/cause of WW1, and running through some of the main events of The Great War. Teachers have commented that they could have listened all day to this presentation as it was so interesting and they learned things that they never even knew about.

The activities throughout the day are absolutely top-class. We run several workshops, but this has to be the best one. The children have a huge amount of fun whilst learning an incredible amount. If you don't teach World War One...you should do! Now over a hundred years ago since its end...some people think it will start to be forgotten. Well I'm going to try my best to keep their memories alive...'They Shall Not Grow Old!'

Who are Historic Workshops?

Historic Workshops travel to schools nationwide, to provide highly-engaging, hands-on learning that is second to none. We pride ourselves in providing a professional service that aims to deliver each workshop to as many children as possible (unlike some other workshop providers, we also provide teacher-led sessions for the children to continue their hands-on learning whilst we are delivering a session).

Most schools we visit re-book us for the following year, or for other workshops that we provide. Since our beginning in 2016, we have seen a huge rise in popularity year on year, which is a true testament to the quality and value of the workshops. In Autumn and Spring 2017-18 and Autumn 2018-19, we were fully-booked 5 days a week! It is essential that you book as early as possible to avoid missing out!
