North East of England
Regional School Trips
Learning outside the classroom in the North East of England
The North East of England is an area of contrasts, between wild open countryside and sprawling urban development, between ancient historical sites and modern commercial centres. Made up of the counties of Northumberland and County Durham, and the Metropolitan county of Tyne and Wear, this part of the country has plenty to offer school groups looking to take a school trip to learn outside the classroom.
We can help you plan school trips across the North East, with learning outcomes covering a wide variety of curriculum topics. Learn more about the region's many fantastic sites, steeped in history and managed by English Heritage, undertake fieldwork with the Field Studies Council, or visit a local residential activity centre. We can help schools find budget friendly trips to support their class work.
