PSHE Education
Learning Objective
Personal, Social, Health and Economic education
PSHE covers important issues such as mental and emotional health, social and physical wellbeing, food, relationships, sexual health and parenthood. The goal of this school subject is to develop healthy individuals, who are engaged and ready to enjoy fulfilling lives, where they make positive contributions to society.
Some schools refer to PSCHE; to include Citizenship (view our dedicated Citizenship page). Topics and lessons are often split into subject areas like healthy lifestyles, health and wellbeing, personal relationships and playing a positive role as citizens, and elements of careers education. If you are considering adding a trip to your lesson planning, we have some great venues for you to consider. Click here for a full list of PSHE workshops! or click here for Careers and IAG
Finding high quality PSHE lessons outside the classroom can be a challenge for teachers, but there are some fantastic workshops available and you can choose whether you wish to travel to visit an education provider, or have a PSHE specialist visit your school to run a tailor made workshop. Below we have listed a selection of our favourite PSHE venues and providers, but if you would like us to find you something closer to your school, please fill out the short enquiry form.
Whether you take a trip or have someone come to you, your class will enjoy an interactive learning experience; which is key for their understanding of many unique PSHE topics.
