Curriculum Subject
Personal, Social, Health and Economic education

PSHE or Personal, Social and Health Education, is a popular but not compulsory curriculum subject that most schools provide teaching in for their students. Some schools refer to PSCHE with the C referring to Citizenship (view our dedicated Citizenship page). Content is usually split into subject areas like healthy lifestyles and wellbeing, personal relationships and playing a positive role as citizens, and elements of careers education. If you are considering adding a trip to your lesson planning, we have some great venues for you to consider. Click here for a full list of PSHE workshops!

Finding high quality PSHE lessons outside the classroom can be a challenge for teachers, but there are some fantastic workshops available and you can choose whether you wish to travel to visit an education provider, or have a PSHE specialist visit your school to run a tailor made workshop. Below we have listed a selection of our favourite PSHE venues and providers, but if you would like us to find you something closer to your school, please fill out the short enquiry form.

Whether you take a trip or have someone come to you, your class will enjoy an interactive learning experience; which is key for their understanding of many unique PSHE topics.

Short on time? We can help!

Let us find the perfect PSHE ideas for your school trip.

Day Trips at Willen Lake

Willen Lake offers a range of multi-activity sessions. Suitable for those with no experience who are keen to try something new. We offer watersports and land based activities which are sure to create a memorable experience for all students.

Every trip is tailored to the needs of the school. We can meet your educational requirements, with our sessions which are run by highly trained instructors. We have lots of green space, which can be used for lunches, lawn games or for teachers to chill out! Once you are on site, our team will run the day and sort out the organisation of each session. In between sessions we will need the teachers help to get everybody gathered on time, but apart from that the teachers can sit back and relax. Walking around the lake is also a pleasant experience, with wonderful views from each angle meaning you can watch the different sessions running at each location. We can take from 6 to 500 people per day spread out across all of the activities, so whether you want to bring a team, class, year group...
