School Water Sports Trips
Take your class sailing, canoeing, or white water rafting
Action packed water sports activity holidays are popular among school groups, with hundreds of UK schools heading to the nearest coast, river or lake, each year. Pupils are usually getting their first taste of a range of exciting and challenging water activities, such as canoeing and kayaking, white water rafting, surfing, windsurfing and dinghy sailing. The water sports packages we offer here can be tailor-made to suit both your learning objectives and your school's budget.
As well as experiencing new water sports activities, these types of trips are a perfect way for teachers to allow pupils to celebrate the end of primary school, or as a way to get new groups bonding when starting secondary school. Children will learn a variety of practical new technical skills, while developing their own personal and social skills, and forging friendships.
Promoting well established, professional water sports centres who focus on learning and safety, we are able to feature a diverse range of venues. These school group water sports trips, allow us to offer single session experiences through to week long residential adventures.
Popular coastal water sports include surfing, windsurfing, sailing, and sea kayaking. Instructors hold qualifications from the Royal Yachting Association and the International Surf Association and are trained to give beginners an enthusiastic introduction to a variety of water activities. On inland lakes and rivers, school groups can try open canoes, kayaks, and rafts. Instructors hold British Canoeing Coach Pathway qualifications, enabling them to safely teach paddlesports to school groups.
Find a school trip or workshop for the following Watersports topics: Aqua Park, Bell Boats, Canoeing, Kata Kanuing, Kayaking, Power Boating, Raft Building, Sailing, SUP Stand Up Paddleboarding, Windsurfing, and more.
