Using the natural beauty of the landscape surrounding in our residential centres, this residential enables learners to understand how human actions have consequences for our planet. Tackling issues like climate change, consumables/waste and conservation through art, dance, drama and music workshops. Experience first hand what it would be like to live through Britain’s Home Front during WWII. Set in the historic village of Tattenhall with WW2 landmarks, stories and real life experiences at every turn. Tattenhall, a former secondary school, has a variety of classroom spaces which lend themselves to Creative and Performing Arts teaching. We have an artist in residence and established staff who can deliver dance, drama and music sessions.
The grounds have been considerably developed in recent years to provide a variety of Outdoor Activity options. The large field has a pond, tree climbing, a bouldering wall, a low ropes course, a zip wire, archery and orienteering courses. Further activities can be undertaken from Tattenhall including overnight canoe/camping expeditions & gorge walking.
