In 1863, the seaside resort of Westward Ho! was founded. Many hotels and boarding houses were built and it became a place for wealthy Victorians to come and relax in the coastal waters. Touring around Westward Ho!, many of these grand properties can be still seen and with the addition of period photos, the impact of how the Victorians built a village on the coast can be found.
