Why book
'Rock UK - Carroty Wood' with Rock UK for Residential School Trips and Educational Visits?
At Carroty Wood we work hard to tailor programmes to the specific needs and budgets of our visitors. We are delighted to welcome many groups back to the centre year after year indicating that we help our guests to decide on the package that is right for them.
Each one of our instructors has a real passion for the outdoors and they strive to instil this enthusiasm in the groups they work with.
Carroty Wood is also a holder of the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge and as such we work hard to enable groups to embark on new activities and adventures: Learning, developing and applying a wide range of skills to great effect that will allow them to explore their own mental, physical and spiritual capabilities.
We create memories for life.

Yes. We take safety very seriously at Rock UK centres. Every instructor is a qualified first aider; however we also recommend that groups bring their own qualified first aider.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
Yes, we have some disabled access accommodation and will liaise with group leaders to tailor activity programmes to meet the needs of your group. However, there can be some access restrictions for certain activities so we advise you to discuss your specific requirements with our helpful administrators on 01732 361361 when making your booking.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
At Rock UK, our instructors undertake a rigorous training programme where they are constantly supervised, monitored and assessed. Within this programme instructors learn about different learning styles and educational needs and will work hard to tailor activities to meet the needs of each group they work with.
We advise group leaders to discuss any specific needs with our administrators when making your booking to ensure that together we can deliver the most appropriate programme for your group.
