World Book Day Workshops

OpenView Education

School Workshop

trip icon Did you know? Research shows that a love of reading is the biggest predictor of a child’s future success and happiness.

Despite this, only 35% of 10-year-olds in England say they enjoy reading.

That’s why our World Book Day workshops and assemblies are designed to ignite students' passion for books and storytelling.

Through an interactive, performance-based approach, we bring stories to life—engaging students, fuelling their imaginations, and deepening their connection to characters.

We offer sessions for the whole school, including Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of reading that lasts far beyond World Book Day.

Here's what the schools have to say about our workshops:

‘I have nothing but excellent things to say about our day with OpenView. The children are STILL buzzing about it and they all enjoyed the day – One even announced that it was the ‘Best show ever.’ - (Bonneville Primary School, Lambeth)

‘The workshops really engaged the children and they loved acting out different scenarios. We had such a great facilitator for the day! They delivered a brilliant performance and workshops, which left the children buzzing! The whole day ran really smoothly, our facilitator was very organised and knew exactly what they were doing! Thanks for making it so easy! All children were really engaged and loved it!’ - (St Mary’s Primary School, Brighton)

So get in touch today, and have a professional storyteller arrive at your school to ignite your students imagination and unleash their love for learning.
