Fun and Creative Performing Arts Trips
Primary school drama and performing arts trips are a wonderful way to enhance a child's imagination and develop their linguistic skills. Drama can be an excellent way to introduce KS1 pupils to topics in curriculum subjects such as history or English, while KS2 students can get involved in drama and performing arts as part of a theatre workshop to help them grow their social and verbal skills.
Secondary KS3 and KS4 trips to learn about Drama and Performing Arts are enriching experiences. Your students can soak up knowledge about stage presence, dialogue, performance texts, theatrical skills and how to evaluate work. Venues or workshops can give your students an extra perspective from their standard day in the classroom.
Below you will find a wide range of fun and creative day out venues that can cater for your next drama and performing arts school trip. Learning outside the classroom is great but sometimes it may be more suitable to bring the experience into your classroom with some of the talented drama workshop providers we work with. They can help you engage with your students and tailor their sessions to your individual learning objectives.

The Great Fire of London
During this Drama Hut workshop the children will meet Thomas Farriner, the King’s baker, who survived the Great Fire. Uncover what happened during those four fateful days whilst debating with Samuel Pepys, how the fire changed London forever!

During this workshop our professional actor will take on the role of Thomas Farriner, the King’s baker, from Pudding Lane, who survived the fire to tell the story of what happened during those four fateful days. Discover with help from him and later Samuel Pepys, the most famous diarist of the time, what it was like to live in London before and after the fire. During this workshop the children will, create 10 second pictures from the period, act out a poem depicting the events of those four days during which the fire raged through London and with movement and song, become the fire itself and debate with Samuel Pepys how the fire changed London forever. We will also discuss how architecture would be improved for the future!...
