Dance Days
Our Decades dance workshops will take your pupils on a history tour through music and dance styles. You can include various decades or focus on any decade of your choice, for example, 1920's - The Charleston or 1960's - The Twist and Mashed Potatoes.These workshops are becoming popular when a school is celebrating an anniversary or studying a particular decade.
Some schools have dressed up for these workshops, and that adds to the day.

What activities are available during this school workshop?
Each session will include a short introduction to the style and warm-up, and then your pupils will be taken back in time through dance and music.

We explore the rhythm of the music for the chosen style and the dance steps delivered are broken down into manageable chunks, building on the choreography.

We promote healthy living as our workshops encourage your pupils to be active, and incorporate teamwork through dance.
Twentieth Century
This workshop will take a look at popular dance styles and music from the 20th Century, boosting out of classroom learning and interaction.
Performing Arts
All of our workshops help bring the subject to life, mainly through movement and dance and includes spacial awareness and build on confidence.
Dance
We bring the chosen subject and style to life, through dance. Dance helps boost wellbeing, gets children active and moving in an inclusive setting, none contact and no competition, it will unlock a different side to many children.
What size groups do we cater for?
From experience, up to 30 pupils per session work best. You can have up to 8x 30-minute sessions (during a full day) or increase the duration and reduce the number of sessions.

Yes, all of our styles can be adapted to SEND pupils and settings.

We will take your requirements and work with you to build your ideal Dance Day, and you can include many of our styles or focus on a particular style.

Who are Dance Days?
Dance Days have been providing educational, interactive and fun dance workshops for schools since 2013, and we visit schools in London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire. We are continuously building our team to enable further coverage of the UK.
We inspire, educate and boost confidence through dance and provide a unique experience without breaking the budget.
Many of our dance workshop styles link directly to the school curriculum and enrich your pupils' learning while helping with PE in a nontraditional way. We adapt the delivery of our workshops so they are suitable from Nursery age right through to Secondary School.
