What activities are available during this educational workshop?
You can choose from over 15 different countries, covering both Europe and Worldwide styles and it's a great way to learn some new skills, away from the classroom.
Each session will include a short introduction to the style and warm-up, and then your pupils will learn moves from your chosen country.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

Our workshops help many pupils with team building and depending on the chosen style will include partner work.Curriculum topics available: Listening to Music.
We explore the rhythm of the music for the chosen style and the dance steps delivered are broken down into manageable chunks, building on the choreography.Curriculum topics available: Teamwork and resilience, Healthy Living.
We promote healthy living as our workshops encourage your pupils to be active, and incorporate teamwork through dance.All of our workshops help bring the subject to life, mainly through movement and dance and includes spacial awareness and build on confidence.
We bring the chosen subject and style to life, through dance. Dance helps boost wellbeing, gets children active and moving in an inclusive setting, none contact and no competition, it will unlock a different side to many children.
What size groups do you cater for?
From experience, up to 30 pupils per session work best. You can have up to 8x 30-minute sessions (during a full day) or increase the duration and reduce the number of sessions.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Yes, all of our styles can be adapted to SEND pupils and settings.
Anything else?
We will take your requirements and work with you to build your ideal Dance Day, and you can include many of our styles or focus on a particular style.

Who are Dance Days?
Dance Days have been providing educational, interactive and fun dance workshops for schools since 2013, and we visit schools in London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire. We are continuously building our team to enable further coverage of the UK.
We inspire, educate and boost confidence through dance and provide a unique experience without breaking the budget.
Many of our dance workshop styles link directly to the school curriculum and enrich your pupils' learning while helping with PE in a nontraditional way. We adapt the delivery of our workshops so they are suitable from Nursery age right through to Secondary School.
