We believe that schools should have ready access to drama in order to support learning. The Drama Hut was created in order to provide a service that teachers could access, to help bring the curriculum to life. Through drama, children are able to experience a subject, complementing and enhancing their learning in the classroom.
All our team are trained both in facilitation and performance. They have experience working with children of all ages and share a common passion for learning through drama. All facilitators are DBS checked and implement The Drama Hut CPP (Child Protection Policy).
With over two hundred schools visited last year, we are passionate about the impact that drama within schools, can have on children’s education.

Our professional actor will lead the children on a fun exploration of ‘all things Shakespeare’, helping them to appreciate how exciting and accessible his work can be. During the workshop the children will: Prepare their voices for performance, be introduced to the story of Macbeth, explore Shakespearean text, look at characterisation using the witches from Macbeth and develop a short performance piece
