Climbing

A day out at BeWILDerwood is incredibly active and you’ll certainly be worn out when heading home! Zip wires, slippery slides, climbing up to the treetops, heaps of ground play to balance along… there’s plenty of opportunities for young explorers to be brave and work on physical coordination.

Have a go at designing, and maybe even crafting your very own Boggle or Twiggle house when you get back to the classroom.

What size groups do we cater for?

You have to have a minimum of 15 paying visitors to qualify for a School visit rate. BeWILDerwood is more than happy to welcome big groups too, offering 1 accompanying adult free for every 5 children.

On-site classroom facilities?

No.

Is there first aid on site?

Yes, most of the BeWILDerwood team are first aid trained and will be happy to help.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Yes at BeWILDerwood there are plenty of inclusive activities that everyone can join in with, including arts crafts, storytelling and disability swings. However, some of the play structures are raised above the ground and may not be accessible. A full Accessibility Statement and Guide is available on the BeWILDerwood website.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Who are BeWILDerwood Cheshire?

BeWILDerwood Cheshire is an outdoor woodland adventure park full of imagination and active play. No matter how teeny or tall you are, explorers can run WILD in the woods! Think magical treehouses and the biggest wonky wooden play structures you can imagine, high up in the trees. Explore giant slippery slides, wobbly zip wires, massive muddled mazes, plus lots more.
Based on the enchanting book series by creator and author Tom Blofeld, you will find hints of the curious characters as you journey through the WILD wood in Cheshire. Located along the A49, just 5 miles from Whitchurch.
BeWILDerwood Norfolk opened in 2007 and has welcomed thousands of school groups over the years. 2021 saw the opening of BeWILDerwood Cheshire and we can’t wait to start welcoming groups to the WILD woods.
