School Trips @ English Heritage
Important update from English Heritage
In line with government guidelines, our staffed sites remain closed in the interests of public health. It is now clear that we will not be able to re-open on 1 May as we had originally hoped. Instead we will re-open as soon as government advice allows and only when we can ensure the safety of our visitors and our staff and volunteers.
Bring your teaching to life and inspire your students at our 400 sites across England. Your students can explore and discover the places where history happened at our prehistoric sites, castles, abbeys and country houses including Stonehenge, Hadrians Wall and Battle Abbey just to name a few. Come and visit us for free on a self-led visit, or enhance your day and let our experts lead a hands-on Discovery Visit for you.
