School Visits Warwickshire
inspiration and ideas
The West Midlands county of Warwickshire, for those of you studying the Anglo Saxons, was originally part of the Kingdom of Mercia. Whether you are planning a trip to support historical topics of study, to look at modern industrial activity around, Coventry, Nuneaton or Rugby, or a residential activity trip - we have a range of options in Warwickshire sure to meet your teaching requirements.
The North of the county has historically supported heavy industry such as mining and engineering. Day visits to a science museum, or the British motor museum can support study of these topics. Southern Warwickshire is much more rural, encompassing a number of country parks and the northern edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Popular Warwickshire school trips include literary trips to Stratford for an immersive Shakespeare experience, life and times at Warwick Castle, or a visit to the gallery and park at Compton Verney.
Well planned time spent learning outdoors helps to improve children's educational attainment. We can help you plan safe, fun and engaging local visits outside the classroom, residential excursions, field trips or sports activities, throughout the county of Warwickshire.
