At Beaudesert, students take part in outdoor adventure activities designed to build confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence in a safe and supportive environment.
Pupils experience activities such as high ropes, bushcraft, raft building, climbing, archery and team challenges, all led by experienced instructors who adapt sessions to suit the age and ability of the group.
Our residentials help students develop communication skills, problem solving, leadership and self-confidence while encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone and work together in new ways.

What activities are available during educational visits in 2026 & 2027?
Students can take part in a wide range of outdoor adventure activities including high ropes, climbing, archery, bushcraft, raft building, zip wire, orienteering, team challenges, crate stacking and low ropes. Activities are tailored to the age, ability and goals of each group, helping students build confidence, teamwork and resilience through hands-on experiences outdoors.

Bushcraft School Trip
Beaudesert Outdoor Adventures offers hands-on bushcraft experiences that encourage students to develop practical outdoor skills, resilience and teamwork in a natural woodland environment. Participants learn skills such as shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking and outdoor survival techniques while building confidence and problem-solving abilities through real outdoor challenges.
Our bushcraft sessions are designed to be engaging, educational and accessible for a wide range of ages and abilities. Led by experienced instructors, activities encourage communication, independence and a greater appreciation for the outdoors while giving students the opportunity to step away from screens and experience learning in a completely different environment.

Beaudesert Outdoor Adventures supports Physical Education through active outdoor experiences that encourage teamwork, coordination, resilience and personal challenge. Students take part in physically engaging activities such as climbing, high ropes, raft building and team challenges, helping to develop confidence, communication and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
Our programmes encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, work together and build trust while staying active in the outdoors. Activities are adapted to suit different ages and abilities, with experienced instructors creating a supportive environment where every student can take part and achieve something new.
Tudors

Henry VIII
Beaudesert Outdoor Adventures brings Tudor history to life through immersive "Living History" experiences set within the historic grounds of Beaudesert Hall. Students explore key events from the Tudor period while taking part in hands-on activities including archery, fencing, Tudor pastimes and a guided history tour connected to King Henry VIII and the dissolution of the monasteries.
Beaudesert Hall was gifted to Lord Paget by King Henry VIII, giving students the opportunity to learn about Tudor England in a real historical setting. Our 1 and 2 day experiences are designed to engage students through storytelling, interactive learning and practical activities, helping bring the Tudor timeline to life in a memorable and exciting way. Students can also take part in a falconry experience through our partners at Tora Falconry, adding another authentic element to their visit.

Yes we have 2 outdoor classrooms and a number of indoor rooms that can be set up classroom style, theatre style conference meeting style etc

Groups with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
We cater for all children whatever their needs. Outdoor Education can be a fantastic avenue to improve young people's confidence and development. Our activities can be tailored to many, many needs and our instructors adapt their sessions to the requirements of the students. We see young people really flourish here and the smiles are the measure of success.

Who are Beaudesert Activity Centre?
We offer everything you need from an outdoor centre from curriculum support lessons and GCSE PE to day visits, bonding days and full residential trips. Our residential trips can be anything from one night upwards. We have some great activities including a Via Ferrata, High Ropes, Zip Line, Archery, Rafting, Campfires and more. We have a number of accommodation blocks and you'll never share your building with another school. Our catering team ensure every child is taken care of whatever their needs. Our Staff are amazing and have a genuine desire to help. They are all hand picked and trained to our high standards, they are the people who make your trip and create some fantastic magic memory's for the children.
Based in 128 acres of magical parklands and woodlands, Beaudesert is a non profit making organisation. Our goal is to make fantastic memories for all our young visitors and to make the stay as comfortable as possible for the adults.
