Bring Dinosaurs to life (not literally)
Who doesn't like dinosaurs! You may struggle for ideas about how to get your class to engage with some school topics. Dinosaurs isn't likely to be one of them.
So get ready to transport your students back in time to the age of the dinosaurs, where they'll embark on an exciting journey of discovery and hands-on learning. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors will guide them through a series of engaging activities that bring these prehistoric creatures to life.
Dinosaur workshops may include the use of real fossils, piecing together dinosaur skeletons, or creating their own dinosaur themed art projects like making papier-mache dinosaur eggs. Throughout the workshops there will be fascinating facts about dinosaur behavior and how they roamed the earth millions of years ago but these workshops are designed to be more like an adventure than a lesson.
The topic of dinosaurs can be taught in relation to quite a few different subject areas, from the biological sciences of evolution and extinction, to geology and natural history. Having a dinosaur workshop visit your school can inspire your pupils, seeing them working as palaeontologists for the day perhaps creating their own fossils, or how about bringing a lifelike dinosaur into the classroom!
