School Workshop West Midlands Worcestershire
Bring learning to life in the woods with a curriculum-linked visit to The World Outside at beautiful Bodenham Arboretum.Students explore curriculum topics through practical, hands-on activities in a real woodland environment. Depending on the chosen programme, they might investigate habitats and plants, hunt for minibeasts, explore seasonal change, create with natural materials or take part in practical challenges linked to science, history and geography.
Every visit is tailored to the age, needs and curriculum objectives of your group. Activities encourage children to observe, investigate, question, problem-solve and work together, helping them understand classroom learning through memorable first-hand experiences.
Teachers choose The World Outside because we make outdoor learning easy to organise. With over 15 years' experience delivering Forest School and outdoor education, our experienced leaders plan and lead the activities, allowing teachers to enjoy the experience alongside their pupils.
Our visits support National Curriculum learning while also developing confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience and a connection with the natural world.
Whether you're studying plants, habitats, seasonal change, local environments or looking for a creative way to bring a wider classroom topic outdoors, we'll work with you to create a visit that complements what your pupils are learning in school.
