Where we travel to

We can visit your school in:

What activities are available during this school workshop?

We offer some exciting and innovative educational sessions!

• Saving our Seas - What creatures live in the sea? How can we help these creatures? We explore the depths of the ocean and how creatures are affected by things such as plastic pollution and fishing.

• Bees & Pollinators - Have a look at different plants and how they create pollen, see if you can work out the various bees; queen, worker and female.

• Birds & their Ecology - How do birds fly? Why are feathers different? How do birds eat? Explore different parts of birds and create your own bird in your teams to have a go at flying them yourselves.

• Creatures Past & Present - Take a look at what creatures lived in the world including dinosaurs before looking at recent counterparts and how they live in their habitats.

All of our sessions include a range of props and exploration items - have you ever seen dinosaur teeth or birds wings?!

Which curriculum topics do we cater for?

green tick Environmental Geography

Conservation Pollution Climate change

THE MARINE WORLD
Key Topics: Pollution, Adaptations, Biology, Conservation

Delve into the deep with us looking at marine creatures! Throughout this workshop, we look at the unique techniques used by whales, dolphins and seals and how these benefit the creatures. We also look at the effects humans have on the ocean and how we can do better, coming up with our own missions.

green tick Geology

Plate Tectonics Fossils Geological Processes Rocks

PAST & PRESENT CREATURES
Key Topics: Fossils, Adaptations, Evolution

Dive into the world of fossils with us. We take a look at creatures from the past and whether we can form a timeline of creatures from today, taking a look at their evolution and adaptations over time. With this workshop, we bring a range of fossils and skulls for children to look and discover for themselves how exactly these new creatures came to be.

green tick Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are unique and special - but did you know some still exist today?

Discover Fossils with us! We delve into how creatures used to be millions of years ago, and see whether we can find any links between creatures today and those in the era of dinosaurs. Through these interactive workshops, we look at skulls, fossils and allow children to discover for themselves evolution and adaptations.
