Curriculum topics available: Stone Age.
During this work shop we will travel back in time with our professional actor who takes on the role of enthusiastic archaeologist 'Sally Spade', in order to explore this fascinating prehistoric period- The Stone Age'. We will explore how it developed from the chaotic to the domestic whilst looking at the differences from the 'Paleolithic' 'Mesolithic' and 'Neolithic' periods in time.Yes - children with special educational needs really benefit and enjoy our workshops.
At the Drama Hut we employ skilled costumed actors who use the Performing Arts, to help children truly experience a subject, complementing and enhancing learning in the classroom. Through improvisation, role play, movement and song, we help to bring the curriculum to life. Whether you choose to have us visit you online or on-site, our workshops are delivered live and are fully interactive. Prices start at £120 for a single workshop, with discounts available when multiple sessions/different topics are booked.
Whether it's a history subject, creative writing workshop, PSHE or an opportunity to celebrate a significant person or event, let us help you to inspire learning with a Drama Hut workshop.

"Lillie was wonderful at delivering the workshop. The children learned a lot about the Stone Age in a really interactive way. She was really engaging as 'Sally Spade', and kept their attention for the full 75 minutes."
★★★★★
"The boys had a really brilliant afternoon and they all loved it. They had had a really tough day and not been outside as usual and Fraser was able to keep them all engaged and involved throughout the sessions. It was brilliant to see them working together in groups and I was so impressed with the creativity Fraser brought out of them. Thank you!"

"The workshop was fantastic! The children were so engaged in their learning throughout and took so much away from it. Sally Spade was so engaging that the children were in awe of her. Not only that but Sally Spade even made it through the snow to run our workshop!"
