One Day Creative
One Day is a forward-thinking creative education company, connecting children and learning with creativity and imagination. In this Stone Age workshop, your pupils will follow their imaginations back hundreds (and hundreds!) of years, to a time when men and women lived inside caves and made all sorts of tools and weapons out of stone. Alongside our drama facilitator and using the performing arts, they'll bring this fascinating time in history to life!

What activities are available during this school workshop?
In this Stone Age workshop, your class will have the opportunity to express ideas and feelings through voice, movement, role play and drama. In addition, they will:

Prehistory Workshop
Stone Age Bronze Age Iron Age
During the course of the workshop, our drama facilitator will guide your class through exploration of life in the Stone Age and progression to the Iron Age. Your pupils will examine growth of communities, different jobs and roles in Stone Age society.
Performing Arts
>What size groups do we cater for?
We can deliver workshops to up to 4 classes in a school day, depending on the type of workshop and age group of the classes involved. Each session caters for a maximum of 35 children.
Groups with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
Absolutely! Our method of working, using the performing arts as a vehicle for learning, is naturally inclusive so please do reach out if you'd like to have One Day in your specialist setting.
We recognise that our workshops have been designed for mainstream settings and, therefore, may not be appropriate for all specialist contexts. However, we can make some reasonable adaptations to workshops when delivering in specialist schools so that pupils can access the learning.
We'll work with you to understand your pupils' needs and offer all the information you need to make an informed choice about our services. You know your pupils best. Equally, we always work in pupils' best interests. If we don't think we can provide what your pupils need, we'll let you know.

One Day's range of interactive school workshops harness the power of the performing arts. We have a talented team of facilitators based across the country, ready to bring core curriculum topics to life right in your school hall.
Our workshops are ideal because we do all the hard work for you. On the day of the workshop, all we need is a large clear space to work in ' our friendly facilitator will take care of the rest! From the moment you enquire, our central office team are on hand to answer any questions, make suggestions and tailor your day to your school's needs.
