Visiting sites like the Colosseum (where early Christians were martyred) and the Catacombs (early Christian burial places with significant religious art) provides insight into the challenges and growth of early Christianity. Highlights of this religious studies trip to Rome include tours of the the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Christian Catacombs.

Day 1

• Flight to Rome
• Transfer to Rome City Centre
• Check in to hotel
• Dinner at hotel restaurant

Day 2

• Breakfast
• Morning sightseeing tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel
• Afternoon visit to the Colosseum
• Pizza/Pasta Making Class and dinner

Day 3

• Breakfast
• Morning in Ostia Antica, visiting it’s temples, houses and theatres
• Afternoon in Rome to visit:- TreviFountain, Colosseum, Pantheon and Piazza Navona
• End of Tour dinner in Hotel restaurant

Day 4

• Breakfast
• Morning guided tour of the Christian catacombs, the underground cemeteries
from the 1st to 7th Centuries
• Transfer to Airport
• Flight home
