Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips
Day 1: Flight to Pisa and walking tour of Florence
• Group to arrive at Airport and check in for your flight to Florence
• Meet and greet on arrival by English speaking guide
• Private transfer to Hotel and check in
• Lunch (own expense)
• Afternoon walking tour of Florence to include Piazza della Signoria and Pontevecchio
• Dinner in hotel restaurant
Day 2: Mathematical Museum and Galileo’s mathematical concepts
• Breakfast
• Private transfer to Museum
• Morning tour of Garden of Archimedes Mathematics Museum to include:-
Geometry of Curves, Pythagoras and Fibonacci
• Lunch (own expense)
• Afternoon – Galileo Museum. Workshop to concentrate on Galileo’s military compass and
the mathematical concepts on which it is based
• Dinner in local restaurant
Day 3: Da Vinci Museum and Duomo
• Breakfast
• Morning tour of the Da Vinci Museum to cover: Mechanisms, Earth, Air and Water
• Lunch (own expense)
• Afternoon at the Duomo to witness the wonderful views of Florence and the mathematical
concepts behind the building of the Dome
• Dinner in hotel restaurant
Day 4: Pisa and return flight
• Breakfast
• Transfer to Pisa
• Morning guided tour of Pisa to include the Leaning Tower, and the mathematical concepts
behind it’s construction
• Lunch own expense
• Private transfer to Airport
• Flight departs
• Arrival at UK Airport
• Group to arrive at Airport and check in for your flight to Florence
