School Workshop Online Workshop
Journey back to Medieval Britain with maid Ember Whitby who is about to start working for King Edward III! During this workshop the children will make pictures of Medieval life to get a better idea of this vast and interesting time period including castles and knights. We will also learn a medieval dance and create a timeline showing significant events from the years 500AD ' 1066 AD. We will learn a song about the Plague and story stick a poem about King Canute.

Within this workshop we take a look at the broad Medieval period through improvisation; creating pictures in teams of castles and knights. We will also learn a popular Medieval circle dance. A fun song about the Plague will also be learnt within this workshop.
Within this workshop the class will learn about monarchs from the the Medieval era by creating a timeline of significant moments of British history. We will also hear and act out a poem about King Canute.
