Cultural Education or cultural diversity is an important part of British society. Children come from all different backgrounds and religions, many with family and friends living in different parts of the world.
One of the aims of the trips and school workshops on this page is introducing children to aspects of other cultures, be they performing arts, or festival and religion based. Cultural education can broaden their horizons by teaching children about cultural differences, from food and language to beliefs and how other societies are structured.
You may be wishing to look at aspects of PSHE or Citizenship such as diversity, respect or British values, or you may simply wish your class to experience other cultures through experiences like dance or music.
