Performing Arts
Its what we do! We're all actors, dancers, performers, directors, fight directors and play a host of creative roles in the world of theatre, so we bring this extensive knowledge, training and experience to each of our workshops to inspire your students through techniques used daily in the industry.
Dance
Dance is another form of creative expression which can evoke characters and emotions. It plays a huge role in theatre. We teach both choreography and the creative process behind it, giving students ownership over the dance choreography created and helping them understand what certain moves mean to an audience, how it compliments the character, story and emotions of a routine, and not just be movement without meaning.
Music
Musical theatre is a key component of most music curriculum and our workshops explore how music drives performance, heightens emotions, engages the audience, and inspires action on stage.
Business topics: Enterprise and Leadership, Marketing.
The Creative Industries were, pre-Covid, one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK generating £107.3bn for the UK economy, outperforming oil and gas, life sciences, automotive and the aerospace industries combined by more than £30bn! They are an industry unlike any other.

Having spanned the entertainment, travel and education sectors for 15+ years, Theatre Workout has a wealth of experience to share through a unique business studies experience.
Art topics: Design.
Specialist set-desing workshops cover many aspects of art and design curriculums, plus we organise tours of costume stores where students can learn about design and production.
In addition, Theatre Workout's travel team organise art tours of galleries, museums, exhibitions, and can organise specialist art classes on request.

Drama and performance are engaging ways of experiencing subjects covered by PSHE, including friendship, bullying, racism and predjudice, relationships and more. Theatre Workout explores these subjects through devising, physical theatre, choreography, story telling and scene studies of selected productions.
