Our virtual reality workshops are a fantastic way of bringing the curriculum to life! We can deliver an exciting, relevant and unforgettable workshop for every KS2 class. Each year group can choose a workshop relevant to their current topic and teachers can use the experience to inspire their class to produce some amazing creative writing.
All of our workshops are delivered by qualified teachers or passionate educators who bring all of the equipment necessary and we only need a spare classroom or small space with access to tables and chairs to inspire KS2.

PrimeVR can bring your history topic to life using virtual reality! Imagine being able to travel back in time to see what it would have been like to live in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Maya, the Stone Age and the age of the Vikings.
We can also transport your class to China, where they'll be able see a range of famous tourist sites linked to Ancient China and the Shang Dynasty!

PrimeVR can bring your science topics to life using virtual reality! Imagine being able to blast off into space and explore the planets, the International Space Station and even relive the Apollo 11 moon landing.
We can also take your class all around the world to learn about the causes and impacts of climate change. Visit the Amazon Rainforest, Antarctica and the Great Barrier Reef to discover how these environments as well as the animals that live there are being affected by today's society.

At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting pupils using VR! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about their chosen topic but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. With a PrimeVR workshop, we'll be able to transport your class around the world to explore a range of different countries. From coming face to face with lions in the African savanna to flying over the top of a volcano, PrimeVR is able to bring your geography topics to life in 360°!
Your class will also be developing their map skills as they identify important places around the world using virtual reality headsets.

Imagine learning about climate change, pollution and global warming by travelling around the world. We can take your class to see the causes and impacts of climate change for themselves. What size groups do we cater for?
We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
We have extensive experience delivering workshops in a wide range of SEN settings, working with students from KS2 through to KS4. The feedback we have received from schools about our VR workshops has been overwhelmingly positive. We offer a range of workshops that can be adapted to suit the individual needs of your students.
Before confirming a booking, we arrange a call with the school to discuss your students' needs in detail. This allows us to explain how the day will run, what you can expect from the sessions, and to agree on any additional measures or adjustments that may be needed to ensure all students feel comfortable and supported.
To make our visits viable, we encourage whole-school participation (KS2 and above). Our workshops are highly engaging and immersive, so we recommend a maximum session length of 30 minutes per class to help prevent fatigue or sensory overload.
Our VR headsets are accessible for students who use wheelchairs. Depending on individual preference, the headset strap can be worn over the head or the device can simply be held up to the eyes like a pair of binoculars. If any students find the headset overwhelming, we also provide tablets as an alternative (usually up to four per visit). This ensures that all students can still take part and engage with the content in a way that feels comfortable for them.
As our workshops are predominantly visual, students with hearing impairments are still able to benefit from the experience.
For safety reasons, we recommend that students who are prone to seizures or who have epilepsy consult with a medical professional before using a VR headset. We also require parental or guardian consent for all students who will be using our VR equipment.
