Our virtual reality workshops are a fantastic way of bringing the curriculum to life! We can deliver an exciting, relevant and unforgettable workshop for every KS2 class.

Each year group can choose a workshop relevant to their current topic and teachers can use the experience to inspire their class to produce some amazing creative writing.

All of our workshops are delivered by qualified teachers or passionate educators who bring all of the equipment necessary and we only need a spare classroom or small space with access to tables and chairs to inspire KS2.

What activities are available during this educational workshop?

We cover the following topics using VR:

Ancient Maya, The Romans, The Vikings, The Egyptians, The Greeks, The Stone Age, World Wars, Polar Regions, North America, South America, China, Wonders of the World, Around the World, Mount Everest, Africa, Animals, Ocean Explorers, The Rainforest, Volcanoes, Biomes, Space and Climate Change.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

Curriculum topics available: Maya Civilisation, The Shang Dynasty, Ancient China, Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greeks.

PrimeVR can bring your history topic to life using virtual reality! Imagine being able to travel back in time to see what it would have been like to live in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Maya, the Stone Age and the age of the Vikings.

We can also transport your class to China, where they'll be able see a range of famous tourist sites linked to Ancient China and the Shang Dynasty!

Curriculum topics available: Animals including humans, Living things and habitats, Habitats, Underwater Animals and Habitats, Ecology and environment.

PrimeVR can bring your science topics to life using virtual reality! Imagine being able to blast off into space and explore the planets, the International Space Station and even relive the Apollo 11 moon landing.

We can also take your class all around the world to learn about the causes and impacts of climate change. Visit the Amazon Rainforest, Antarctica and the Great Barrier Reef to discover how these environments as well as the animals that live there are being affected by today's society.

Curriculum topics available: Creative writing.

At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting pupils using VR! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about their chosen topic but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. Give VR a go and see how it helps with creative writing!

Curriculum topics available: Earth and space.

PrimeVR can bring your science topics to life using virtual reality! Imagine blasting off into space to see the planets and the Milky Way Galaxy. We can even take your class to see the International Space Station!

Curriculum topics available: Natural resources, Travel and Tourism.

With a PrimeVR workshop, we'll be able to transport your class around the world to see a range of famous landmarks, cities and architecture. Imagine being able to stand next to the Taj Mahal or fly over the New York City skyline, all in 360°! Bring your geography topic to life with PrimeVR!

Our workshops are a great opportunity to experience tourism and visit famous landmarks from around the world from the comfort of your classroom.

Curriculum topics available: Volcanoes, Map and atlas, Rainforest, Mountains, Polar Regions, Climate zones and biomes , Natural Disasters, Environment, Glaciers, Continents, Weather, Wonders of the World, Oceans.

With a PrimeVR workshop, we'll be able to transport your class around the world to explore a range of different countries. From coming face to face with lions in the African savanna to flying over the top of a volcano, PrimeVR is able to bring your geography topics to life in 360°!

Your class will also be developing their map skills as they identify important places around the world using virtual reality headsets.

Curriculum topics available: Plastic pollution, Rainforest, Sustainable living, Global warming, Climate change, Natural Disasters, Pollution, Conservation.

Imagine learning about climate change, pollution and global warming by travelling around the world. We can take your class to see the causes and impacts of climate change for themselves. Visit the Amazon Rainforest, Antarctica and the Great Barrier Reef to discover how these environments as well as the animals that live there are being affected by today's society.

What size groups do you cater for?

We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.

We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.

We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.

Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?

Please get in touch if you have any specific questions regarding accessing our VR headsets.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Yes. We've worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic.
