Everyone Benefits From a Winter Residential

Adventure never stop at Hindleap Warren, come rain, sun or snow, we continue to offer gold-standard residentials for students all year round for schools to enjoy life changing residential trips.
It goes without saying that we can all see the attraction for a summer residential, time outside in the sun, warm weather to be enjoyed by all. However, the reality in the UK means you never know what weather you’ll be faced with. Schools often fight for dates in the summer months but our winter residentials have so many benefits for your students, as well as cost benefits!

Memories of your first residential last for years and the impacts can last forever. A residential trip with your students in the winter allows your staff to foster deeper relationships earlier on in the school year, setting both your staff and students up for success on their return to school. Here at Hindleap Warren your students will build strong relationships with their peers through the range of activities but also develop their relationship with your staff on sessions, at meal times and down time, a different side to each person will be seen to what you see in the classroom. The relationships everyone leaves with become more respectful and trusting back in the classroom, setting them up for a successful year ahead.
We are proud of our huge range of sessions on offer which run all year round by our dedicated and passionate instructing team. Whether you are trying our climbing tower, on the inside or outside of the tower, or learning nettle string making and water filtration in our survival skills sessions, each session provides your students with new skills and personal development which our instructors acknowledge and build upon to help the growth of each individual. Your student’s wellbeing, self-confidence and resilience will be improved whatever the time of year is.

A typical 2-night residential at Hindleap Warren includes your accommodation in our warm, homely centre (with all bed linen provided), all of your meals freshly prepared onsite by our amazing kitchen team (from dinner on your arrival day to lunch on your departure day), up to 9 activities led by our fully qualified instructor team, access to breakout rooms with games and tv’s in them and a trip to the tuck shop, should you wish. Our residential offer is the same at whatever time of year you book, the only difference in program being the timings throughout the day. The longer nights and shorter days offer new learning opportunities on an outdoor residential, try our night walk and get a sensory overload from the bats flying overhead and deer’s barking in the not so far distance.
We believe in the power of outdoor learning and are passionate that every young person gets the opportunity to go on a residential in their lifetime, get a greater return on your investment with our affordable winter residential trips starting at as little as £185.00 for a 2-night residential.
