Woodland Activity Days Proving Popular at Oaker Wood

Woodland Survival Activity Days are increasing in popularity and offer an exciting, hands-on outdoor learning experience. Each day is tailored to suit your class and can be linked directly to relevant curriculum topics. Activities may include den and shelter building, woodland wildlife exploration, and learning key principles of survival - all delivered through play, discovery, and teamwork in a safe environment.

Woodland Navigation follows an orienteering theme. Map reading is an important life skill, and we love helping children develop this ability in a fun and supportive setting. Along the way, pupils also learn about woodland animals and plants. Our themed navigation trail encourages children to use maps to explore the woodland, discovering pictures and information about wildlife as they go.
