YHA Boggle Hole is a brilliant hostel bound to delight and inspire your students, with treasure trails, stunning sea views and wooded ground for them to explore. Only a short drive from the historic seaside town of Whitby and close to Robin Hood's Bay, this hostel truly is a hidden gem.
In the hostel's main building - Old Mill - you can make use of the shared spaces, which includes a comfy lounge, dining room and well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Private rooms are also available up a flight of stairs in the annexe - Crow's Nest. Access is on foot from the car park at the top of the hill.
Schools and youth groups will love the building and hunting for the illusive ‘boggles’. We can provide a range of curriculum-linked activities for KS1 and KS2 children with our residential packages and bolt-on activities. For older educational groups, YHA Boggle Hole is a great base for geology and geography field trips, while literature and art students will also find much to sink their teeth into with Bram Stoker’s inspiration just a few miles away!
