Quick Overview - BeWilderwood in Cheshire is a magical woodland adventure park themed on a series of books, written by author and creator Tom Blofeld. With a variety of engaging activities tailored for school groups from Early Years to KS2, teachers can plan treasure hunts through the enchanted forest, encouraging teamwork as pupils navigate their way to hidden clues. Treetop walkways and giant tree houses provide a perfect backdrop for lessons on nature, or engineering and construction, while the storybook inspired play zones help develop storytelling and communication skills. BeWilderwood is an immersive experience that gets children active, thinking, and genuinely excited about learning outside the classroom.Take your learning outside of the classroom and watch the children be inspired by traditional play.

BeWILDerwood is based on the enchanting tale, a Boggle At BeWILDerwood, if you wish to read this before your visit or extend your adventure back in the classroom, it can be purchased from BeWILDerwood's online shop. Storytelling shows are on multiple times a day at the Storytelling Stage. If you are visiting in a big group, please contact the BeWILDerwood team and they can recommend which show to attend.

What size groups do we cater for?
You have to have a minimum of 15 paying visitors to qualify for a School visit rate. BeWILDerwood is more than happy to welcome big groups too, offering 1 accompanying adult free for every 5 children.

Is there first aid on site?
Yes, most of the BeWILDerwood team are first aid trained and will be happy to help.
Groups with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
Visitors with additional needs tend to find BeWILDerwood to be a very different experience than other outdoor attractions. From a sensory perspective, there are no noisy rides or flashing lights. Yes at BeWILDerwood there are plenty of inclusive activities that everyone can join in with, including arts crafts, storytelling and disability swings. BeWILDerwood Cheshire is an outdoor woodland adventure park full of imagination and active play. No matter how teeny or tall you are, explorers can run WILD in the woods! Based on the enchanting book series by creator and author Tom Blofeld, you will find hints of the curious characters as you journey through the WILD wood in Cheshire. Located along the A49, just 5 miles from Whitchurch.
BeWILDerwood Norfolk opened in 2007 and has welcomed thousands of school groups over the years. 2021 saw the opening of BeWILDerwood Cheshire and we can't wait to start welcoming groups to the WILD woods.
