Situated less than a mile from Beeston Castle, Beeston is housed in a former primary school. It’s location lends itself to the study of Bunbury Church, Beeston Castle, Beeston livestock market and the Shropshire Union Canal, all of which are within easy walking distance of the centre.
Peckforton woods and the local organic dairy farm are also popular places of interest, the former for walking and the latter for studying where food comes from. Students can cover aspects of the KS1 Science and Geography curriculums, participate in orienteering and work together to design shelters involving design and technology.
Beeston has a small woodland area, an adventure playground and a grassy playing area.
