At Whitehough Outdoor Centre, we turn school trips into unforgettable adventures! Whether you're planning a day visit or a full residential, every experience is packed with fun, challenges, and outdoor learning in the heart of the stunning Pendle Hills.

From scaling the high ropes and mastering archery, to building dens and campfires in our woodland bushcraft zones—there’s something here for every pupil to discover. Our wide range of outdoor activities builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and gives young people a much-needed digital detox and a chance to reconnect with nature.

Tailored just for you:

No two groups are the same—and that’s why every visit to Whitehough is bespoke. Our friendly, qualified instructors work directly with your staff to design a programme that’s right for your pupils' age, ability, and goals. Whether you’re focusing on team-building, leadership, resilience, or simply celebrating the end of term, we’ll make it happen.

Stay a little longer:

A typical residential includes hearty meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), comfortable dormitory accommodation, and evenings filled with campfires, storytelling, or night-time nature walks. It's the perfect setting for pupils to bond, grow, and make lasting memories.
