Theatre Workout offers two unique services to schools: workshops and school trips.

WORKSHOPS
Est. 2006, Theatre Workout is the leading producer of theatre workshops in the UK, with multi award-winning programmes in London's West End, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and in schools across the UK.

Our workshops include the offical workshops for over 40 major West End shows, plus an unrivalled range of bespoke masterclasses covering all aspects of theatre and performance, designed to maximise your theatre experience and enhance your school's creative curriculum.

All workshops are available as part of a school trip, or in the comfort of your own school as part of our outreach programme.

SCHOOL TRIPS
As a DMC*, Theatre Workout curates bespoke itineraries for schools and the global group travel industry, managing trips for schools from around the world.

London is our top destination, but our trips specialise in creativity and culture, so we cover the whole of the UK. Sample packages can be found at .

Our packages include all your trip essentials of travel, accommodation and meals; combined with outstanding experiences to support your learning, including tours, museums, galleries, attractions and workshops!

As a boutique agency, our packages are affordable AND high-quality, tailored to your needs. We work with many tour operators in the UK and abroad, so why not cut out the middle-man and book at source direct with us.

Continuing Professional Development with Theatre Workout

Drama and Theatre-based CPD events are available for primary, secondary and tertiary education providers across the UK. Popular choices include:

Primary:
- Drama to support the English curriculum, rooted in storytelling to improve comprehension and composition, and all-round literacy.
- Drama workshops help students to bring their imagination to life through performance, improving their ability to visualise their creativity

Secondary:
Project or curriculum based CPD.
- Shakespeare from an actor's perspective
- Performance Poetry
- Devising to support creative writing, script writing, composition,
- Script-based drama
- Mask work
- Greek Theatre

Tertiary:
- Pre-professional level performing arts training for students in higher and further education
- Devising physical theatre
- Stage Combat

CPD workshops can either be booked for INSET days, or can be tagged on to the end of an outreach workshop for students. INSET days are dedicated sessions just for staff. On outreach days, we run workshops during the day for students, with a 1-2 hour workshop for staff at the end of the day, covering the techniques used with students during the day.

Half and full-day INSET CPD programmes are available in schools:
Three-hour workshop: 15+ from £40, 20+ from £30, 30+ from £20 pp
Four-hour workshop: 15+ from £45, 20+ from £35, 30+ from £25 pp
Full-day workshop: 15+ from £60, 20+ from £45, 30+ from £30 pp
