English topics: Story writing, Shakespeare, Creative writing, Storytelling, Composition, Fairy tales Myths and Legends, Heroes and villains.
Shakespeare never wrote a word to be studied, he wrote to be performed.
Poetry isn't meant to be read, it should spoken aloud to hear the music in it's composition.
Drama sits within English on the National Curriculum, but can help students connect and engage with literature, Shakespeare, poetry, etc.
Performing Arts
Our workshops are practical, participatory drama and performing arts workshops led by industry professionals who will help students develop new skills, develop a greater understanding of productions you're going to see, or expand the curriculum projects you're working on.
Dance
Dance, movement and physical theatre is a universal language of expression, and these disciplines play a large part in the work we do.
We focus on the creative process of developing choreography, giving your students ownership of the work they create and developing a greater understanding of how choreography is created.
PSHE topics: Teamwork and resilience.
Teamwork, collaboration, leadership, confidence development, communication skills, and other essential life skills are learned through drama and performing arts. It's just part of the equation of what we do!
