Where we travel to

We can visit your school in:

What activities are available during this school workshop?

Students can expect to play games, learn performance techniques, and put them into practice in performance. This gives them the confidence to play, create and perform in front of their peers, while earning from the experience and expertise of our professional practitioners. Every session is bespoke to the group taking part, so we tailor content to meet the needs of your group and the learning objectives outlined by you.

Which curriculum topics do we cater for?

green tick English Workshop

Story writing Shakespeare Creative writing Storytelling Composition Fairy tales Myths and Legends Heroes and villains

Shakespeare never wrote a word to be studied, he wrote to be performed.

Poetry isn't meant to be read, it should spoken aloud to hear the music in it's composition.

Drama sits within English on the National Curriculum, but can help students connect and engage with literature, Shakespeare, poetry, etc.

green tick Performing Arts Workshop

Our workshops are practical, participatory drama and performing arts workshops led by industry professionals who will help students develop new skills, develop a greater understanding of productions you're going to see, or expand the curriculum projects you're working on.

green tick Dance Workshop

Dance, movement and physical theatre is a universal language of expression, and these disciplines play a large part in the work we do.

We focus on the creative process of developing choreography, giving your students ownership of the work they create and developing a greater understanding of how choreography is created.

green tick PSHE Workshop

Teamwork and resilience

Teamwork, collaboration, leadership, confidence development, communication skills, and other essential life skills are learned through drama and performing arts. It's just part of the equation of what we do!

green tick Careers Workshop

The Creative Industries are the fastest growing sector of the UK economy, outperforming Oil and Gas, Life Sciences, Aerospace and Automotive industries COMBINED! We offer careers talks on the business of the industry, routs into it, and career opportunities on and off the stage or screen.

green tick Team Building Workshop

Theatre is a collaborative, team sport, so it is a perfect medium for getting groups to work together. Many of the activities used are designed to unite a group through play and creativity, engaging with, listening to, and supporting each other.

What size groups do we cater for?

Outreach workshops are available for half or full-day programmes in which we can work with one group for the duration, or with multiple groups in shorter, back-to-back workshops. Up to 30 people can participate at any one time.

Larger groups can be catered for with multiple programmes run simultaneously.

Weekly classes and clubs offer regular teaching in shorter sessions, typically 25-50 minutes in duration with a full class of up to 30 students at a time.

West End workshops can cater for up to 50 students in a single studio, but we have capacity to run multiple workshops simultaneously with much larger groups across several studios.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Yes. SEND can be catered for if advised at the time of booking.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Drama is a fantastic, accessible, and engaging medium for all students, particularly for younger children and SEN students who greatly benefit from learning through play.

Workshops can be tailored to the ability and specific needs of a group, using movement, games and storytelling to help students learn to better express themselves, their thoughts and feelings, through performance.

Our practitioners are patient, and are able to adapt plans to meet the group's needs on the day.
