We offer practical workshops tailored to the age and ability of your students, exploring the characters, story, and themes in the show of your choice through performance techniques.

- Bespoke perforamance workshops for shows like Matilda, Thriller, Wicked, the Lion King, Dreamgirls, Chicago, 42nd Street, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Woman in Black, Aladdin, and A Comedy About A Bank Robbery

- Talks on the business of theatre, and working freelance in the arts

Active participation in drama helps build the life, social, and 'soft' skills we all need, including confidence, listening and communication skills, teamwork, and leadership.
Theatre Workout caters for over 8,000 students a year, delivering unique learning experiences to students as part of their theatre visits, with students from across the UK and from around the world.
As the centre for education in London's West End, Theatre Workout works in partnership with major West End shows, production companies, theatres and other attractions to give you the best possible experience. It is a member of the Independent Theatre Council, the Creative Industries Federation, Action for Children's Arts, British Educational Travel Association, is a registerd Arts Award Supporter, and is affiliated with OCR, and the BACC For The Future campaign.
What activities are available during group visits?
Primary groups may prefer drama based workshops, focused on storytelling and image theatre, perhaps related to shows like the Lion King or Matilda.
GCSE drama groups may prefer physical theatre workshops inspired by Frantic Assembly, Grotowski or Brecht, tailored to the Woman In Black or The Play That Goes Wrong.
A-level groups may want to push their performance skills in a musical theatre workshop or audition masterclass, learning choreography and working on songs from a West End show.

What size groups do you cater for?
Theatre Workout caters for any group size, although 25-35 is the average. Larger groups can be split between studios, and our largest group to date is 200 students in several spaces simultaneously.
Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?
Theatre Workout use a range of studios across the West End, chosen to suit the size of group, and the nature of the workshop you wish to do. If you require specific facilities, simply let them know at the time of booking.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
Some of the venues Theatre Workout use are disabled friendly. Please let them know of any specific requirements at the time of booking.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
