Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without the hassle of organising a school trip! During our underwater workshop, your children will see and learn about the following:
- Coral reefs
- Sperm whales
- Whale sharks
- Australian sea lions
- Green sea turtles
- Grey reef sharks
In addition to learning all about these marine animals and their habitats, your class will also learn about the impact of global warming on coral reefs.
Following on from this workshop, your pupils will be able to produce an amazing piece of creative writing about their journey underwater.

Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about animals under the sea but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. PrimeVR can bring your underwater topic into your classroom by transporting your pupils to see fascinating marine ecosystems. Using virtual reality headsets, we'll introduce your class to sperm whales, green sea turtles, whale sharks, Australian sea lions and grey reef sharks from different oceans around the world. This is an amazing opportunity to see a range of biodiversity in our oceans!Curriculum topics available: Oceans.
This workshop is an amazing opportunity to transport your class around the world and deep dive into our oceans! Explore the Great Barrier Reef and swim alongside some of the largest animals in our oceans, including the incredible whale shark and sperm whale!This workshop should not be missed and has been rated 5* by teachers and schools across the UK!
What size groups do you cater for?
We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.
We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.
