From Lifeguard Courses and First Aid, through to intensive career-changing programmes - let us show your students the possibilities for a fulfilling career that's great for mind, body and soul.

Human Geography School Trip

Our Geography field trips are mega! Combine traditional fact-finding geography trips with authentic adventure. Experience the Jurassic Coast by kayak, paddle board or coasteering.
Swanage is a prime location to study tourism and coastal erosion. You have everything on your doorstep. Our knowledgable tutors can bring the subject to life and provide a memorable Geography field trip for all ages.

Bushcraft School Trip


Bushcraft at its most authentic. Fire! Shelter! Feast! Join us in our ancient woodland for an atmospheric Bushcraft session for children and young adults.
Children learn essential survival skills including friction fire lighting techniques, shelter building and archery in the trees. This promotes focus, concentration, resilience and a wider understanding about the world around us.
We can even provide extended Bushcraft skills for older more experienced school groups such as wild game prep, fish prep and campfire cookery skills.
Nothing beats an adventure in the woods - the environment fosters a fantastic sense of calm within a school group.

Watersports School Trip


Bell Boats Canoeing Kayaking Sailing SUP Stand Up Paddleboarding Raft Building

Watersports are our speciality. From kayaking in the stunning and sheltered Swanage Bay and Paddle Boarding from the sandy shores through to the adrenaline fuelled coasteering - we have something for everyone.
We can even provide excursions to the local inflatable waterpark too. Our watersports sessions are designed to ensure every child progresses and leaves with a sense of accomplishment.


What size groups do we cater for?

We cater for groups of 10 to 350 people.

On-site classroom facilities?

We have marquee space at our campsite and large conference rooms at our indoor accommodation options

Is there first aid on site?

Yes, all of the Instructors are First Aid Qualified, have training in CPR and Defib Training.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Yes. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate them accordingly.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

At Land & Wave, we make outdoor adventure accessible for all students. Our instructors are experienced in supporting a wide range of SEN needs and work closely with teachers to ensure every young person feels safe and included.

We adapt our land and water-based activities across the Purbeck to suit different ability levels, sensory needs, and communication styles. We can adjust the pace, simplify tasks, and provide clear, supportive guidance throughout.

We're always happy to discuss individual requirements in advance so we can plan the right adjustments and create a positive, memorable experience for every student.


Anything else?

We also offer a wide range of instructor courses and teacher CPD. From accredited First Aid and Mental Health First Aid courses, through to lifeguarding and water safety courses. Talk to us about your next Inset Day training plan.
