YHA Sherwood Forest is set on the edge of the area famed for being Robin Hood's home territory. This hostel has cosy social areas and a quirky exterior, with mostly en suite bedrooms, a spacious dining room, upstairs lounge and convenient drying room.
Visit the nearby Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, developed in partnership with the RSPB for tailored activities, inspiring writing and art-based tasks. You can also learn about woodland habitats and build on those teamwork skills. Or have a look at the Major Oak, one of the biggest oak trees in Britain. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes all within easy reach, perfect for activity breaks.
A perfect location for exploring Greenwood and delving into Robin Hood's myths. The woodland also presents opportunities for outdoor learning, covering subjects like geography and science.
