OUR WORKSHOPS FIT YOUR NEEDS! ... all of our workshops are closely linked to the curriculum and delivered by our instructors who know how to engage young people!

What activities are available during this school workshop?
The Power Pyramid! With Costume and equipment we have a number of children dress up to show the group a visual of Meso-American society in this colourful intro
Jungle Warriors - This active session combines battle training with a range of Meso-American weapons, kit handling and a very effective compare and contrast between Pre Colombian culture and the European Conquistadores.
A Crazy, Colourful City - One of our signature, action packed round robin sessions that have your children doing activities with Meso American beauty and fashion, writing and numbers, farming and much more!
A Severe Sacrifice Finale - we play the famous Meso American ball games and finish with a pyramid-top ritual sacrifice to the colourful Gods of central America!

In these workshops we cover Ancient Civilisations, compare and contrast with European culture, understanding belief systems and religion, warfare and more!
What size groups do we cater for?
Any. We can take one class, a whole year group or the whole school depending on your budget!

Yes absolutely. We currently work in partnership with a local SEN school so we are experienced in delivering to all levels.
Who are The Past Presents?
The Past Presents combines our years of experience teaching young people with our unrivalled equipment, resources & activities to bring to you the wonderment of the past.
Our passion is to provide an evolving, ever-improving vehicle for learning which we can use to spark in your young people an interest in History.
It is also important to us that we use these wondrous vehicles for learning to communicate one of the key reasons for studying History....that understanding the past helps us understand who we are and where we are going.
