What activities are available during this educational workshop?

In this Ancient Maya workshop, your class will have the opportunity to express ideas and feelings through voice, movement, role play and drama. In addition, they will:

✨ Explore the achievements of an early civilisation
✨ Examine the timeline of the period and the people who populated it
✨ Investigate selected gods and rituals

During the course of the workshop day, our drama facilitator will guide your class through exploration of the people in Ancient Maya society, their gods and cultural traditions.

Performing Arts

All our workshops use drama, dance and/or movement to stimulate learning and capture children's imaginations. Our team of performing arts professionals have a range of activities up their sleeve to ensure your chosen topic is as accessible and engaging as possible for your pupils.

What size groups do you cater for?

We can deliver workshops to up to 4 classes in a school day, depending on the type of workshop and age group of the classes involved. Each session caters for a maximum of 35 children.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Absolutely! Drama is a wonderfully inclusive way for children with SEN to access learning. Please let us know of any specific needs or requirements before your day and we can adapt our sessions to fit.
