All of Bigfoot's workshop inherently promotes the learning of PSHE & Citizenship. By working together, young people collaborate, communicate and cooperate, learning to exchange ideas, challenge prejudice, and acknowledge the importance of diversity and equality throughout.
Our work encourages students to develop skills in written and verbal communication, speaking and listening, as well as creative writing techniques.
All of our curriculum based workshops use 'the arts' (drama, dance, music, art) to engage young people in exploring important, and sometimes quite complex and challenging, issues. Using movement, sound, imagination and real life interactions, we create a safe forum within which children can learn and play together to extend their knowledge about a wide range of subject areas.
