What activities are available during this educational workshop?

In this Ancient Greece workshop, your class will have the opportunity to express ideas and feelings through voice, movement, role play and drama. In addition, they will:

✨ Explore the different people who lived in Greek society
✨ Examine the impact the Greeks have had on modern society
✨ Discover Ancient Greek gods, myths and origin stories
✨ Option to focus on the history of the Olympic Games

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

Curriculum topics available: Greek influence on the western world, Greek life and achievements, Religion Trade Politics and Architecture, Greek Gods and Mythology, Olympics.

During the course of the workshop, our drama facilitator will guide your class through the different people who lived in Ancient Greek society. We'll also discuss the impact Ancient Greeks had on modern society.

All our workshops use drama, dance and/or movement to stimulate learning and capture children's imaginations. Our team of performing arts professionals have a range of activities up their sleeve to ensure your chosen topic is as accessible and engaging as possible for your pupils.

We also make sure to tie in key curriculum objectives linked to your chosen topic. Our extensive range of school workshops cover History, STEM, Geography, World Culture, PSHE and more.

This civilisation was birthplace to some of the greatest philosophers, doctors, writers and athletes the world has ever seen! Together we'll explore Ancient Greeks' beliefs, culture and legacy. Meet their gods, hear their myths and how they lived day-to-day.

What size groups do you cater for?

We can deliver workshops to up to 4 classes in a school day, depending on the type of workshop and age group of the classes involved. Each session caters for a maximum of 35 children.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Absolutely! Drama is a wonderfully inclusive way for children with SEN to access learning. Please let us know of any specific needs or requirements before your day and we can adapt our sessions to fit.
