What activities are available during this educational workshop?

In this Ancient Egypt workshop, your class will have the opportunity to express ideas and feelings through voice, movement, role play and drama. In addition, they will:

✨ Explore the different people in Ancient Egyptian society
✨ Examine the timeline of King Tut and the discovery of his tomb

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

Egyptians topics: Pharaohs, Mummies, Gods and Goddesses, Egyptian Food Religion Clothing, Pyramids and Tombs, Belief in the Afterlife, Sphinx, Hieroglyphics.

During the course of the workshop, our drama facilitator will guide your class through exploration of the different people in Egyptian society, 'meet' the British archaeologist Howard Carter, and discover the legendary curse of Tutankhamun.

Performing Arts

All our workshops use drama, dance and/or movement to stimulate learning and capture children's imaginations. Our team of performing arts professionals have a range of activities up their sleeve to ensure your chosen topic is as accessible and engaging as possible for your pupils.

What size groups do you cater for?

We can deliver workshops to up to 4 classes in a school day, depending on the type of workshop and age group of the classes involved. Each session caters for a maximum of 35 children.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Absolutely! Drama is a wonderfully inclusive way for children with SEN to access learning. Please let us know of any specific needs or requirements before your day and we can adapt our sessions to fit.

Our workshops are ideal because we do all the hard work for you. On the day of the workshop, all we need is a large clear space to work in – our friendly facilitator will take care of the rest! From the moment you enquire, our central office team are on hand to answer any questions, make suggestions and tailor your day to your school's needs.
