Mortality and Mummies: Using drama and role-play young people re-enact the burial rites of the pharaoh Tutankhamun using mummification, grave goods and rites to create an absorbing & authentic ritual.
Precise Pyramids: A stunningly creative and hands-on session where young people can examine ancient engineering and building whilst constructing their very own pyramid!
Diverse Deities: The huge Pantheon of Egyptian Gods is brought to life in this packed session which includes role play, dressing up, discovery and more
Barbaric Battles: One of our most engaging sessions, these follow a structured format of training for war, setting the scene and enacting out the key points of Historic Battles like
Kadesh, Defeat of the Hyksos, Cleopatra's Battle of the Nile

Our Ancient Egyptian workshops cover a wide range of aspects this ancient civilisation was known for from the Pantheon of Egyptian Gods, through mummification & the after life to everyday life, war and the ancient technology of the pyramids.
What size groups do we cater for?
Any. We can take one class, a whole year group or the whole school depending on your budget!

All of our workshops can be accessed by the full spectrum of ability.
Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Yes absolutely. We currently work in partnership with a local SEN school so we are experienced in delivering to all levels.
Who are The Past Presents?
At The Past Presents we combine our years of experience teaching young people with our unrivalled equipment, resources & activities to bring to you the wonderment of the past.
Our passion is to provide an evolving, ever-improving vehicle for learning which we can use to spark in your young people an interest in History.
It is also important to us that we use these wondrous vehicles for learning to communicate one of the key reasons for studying History....that understanding the past helps us understand who we are and where we are going.
