Our Flamenco and Spanish dance workshops are a great way to explore Spanish culture. We include several Spanish dance styles, including the powerful Flamenco! We have worked with many schools, where the whole school, including the teachers, dresses up in Flamenco costumes.

What activities are available during this school workshop?
Each session will include a short introduction to the style and warm-up, and then your pupils will try out some Flamenco moves and also work on Jota folk dance. We also include some partner work and use timing and rhythm, which helps coordination.
You can make use of our Flamenco fans, or your pupils can make their own before the workshop and bring them along.

We explore the rhythm of the music for the chosen style and the dance steps delivered are broken down into manageable chunks, building on the choreography.

What size groups do we cater for?
From experience, up to 30 pupils per session work best. You can have up to 8x 30-minute sessions (during a full day) or increase the duration and reduce the number of sessions.

We will take your requirements and work with you to build your ideal Dance Day, and you can include many of our styles or focus on a particular style.

Who are Dance Days?
Dance Days have been providing educational, interactive and fun dance workshops for schools since 2013, and we visit schools in London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire. We are continuously building our team to enable further coverage of the UK.
We inspire, educate and boost confidence through dance and provide a unique experience without breaking the budget.
Many of our dance workshop styles link directly to the school curriculum and enrich your pupils' learning while helping with PE in a nontraditional way. We adapt the delivery of our workshops so they are suitable from Nursery age right through to Secondary School.
