Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into an immersive exploration experience, complete with an exciting display of artefacts, maps, tools and fascinating objects used by explorers
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating artefacts and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing their Explorers & Polar Regions topic vividly to life
Pupils explore the history of exploration, discover the challenges faced by famous explorers and investigate the extraordinary environments, wildlife and conditions of the world's polar regions
They take part in interactive discussions and activities while exploring Shackleton, the Golden Age of Exploration, continents, countries & compasses, as well as discovering the achievements of female explorers and discussing gender & racial equality throughout the history of exploration

Polar Regions are a fascinating way for children to explore geography, climate, wildlife and some of the most extreme environments on Earth
Dan Tastic Education brings that topic vividly to life!
Through maps, exploration artefacts, scientific equipment, storytelling and plenty of pupil interaction, children can discover what makes the Arctic and Antarctic unique and how people have explored and survived in these challenging environments
Our workshop helps pupils investigate polar climates, ice, animals, habitats, exploration and the differences between the Arctic & Antarctic, building a stronger understanding of the physical geography of our planet
By handling artefacts, examining maps and taking part in interactive activities, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, make comparisons and develop their geographical understanding of these extraordinary regions
