At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting pupils to various famous mountains around the world! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about these mountains but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. PrimeVR can bring your geography topic to life by transporting your pupils to Mount Everest! Using virtual reality headsets, we'll take your class to stand at the summit and they'll also be able to see what it's like to stay at base camp. We'll also discuss the risks for climbers attempting to ascend to the top, including altitude sickness, moving glaciers, unpredictable avalanches and the impact of global warming on the mountain!What size groups do you cater for?
We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.
We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.
