Testimonials: Real Stories from Rondo Travel Clients

Our clients' experiences speak volumes about the quality and impact of our tours. Here are a few testimonials from satisfied travelers:
• Educational Tour Success: “I have used Curriculum Travels and worked with Jo for many years now. The service is second to none. No question too silly or small. Excellent communication which is speedy and efficient. Jo has supported me many times which is why we keep on returning and using CT. I have moved to a new school and have continued to use CT here too and will do so again in the future. Thank you for everything you have done for us. I appreciate it and I know the children do too as we have given them experiences in which they would not have been able to access”. Kelly Allington-Primary School teacher

• Battlefield & History Tours: “ I cannot thank you enough for a brilliant trip.
Fantastic tour - a huge success for the students and staff alike. Everything was perfect, mostly everybody were friendly. The coach drivers were fantastic and we hope we could book Chris and Rob again next year.
The hostel in Bernieres was outstanding - could not do enough for us, we had “last minute vegetarian” and they adapted . They did put some fish in some vegetarian meals so it was a tiny issue. One of our students was allergic to nuts (airborne) so she had to leave the canteen when they served us pudding but once again, they were incredible, so lovely and caring.
Thank you so much for the amazing work and fantastic memories you have created for us.” 4 Day Normandy-Nicolas Bazac - History Teacher

• 1 Day Somme & Vimy Ridge: “The trip went really well. The drivers were outstanding and a model of professionalism. They had done their homework the night before, they were calm and communicated very well and it very much felt like a team effort. There had been a threat of strikes in Calais during the day but they kept up to date with the scheduled sailings so that they could be on top of events. The lead driver drew on vast experience and good sense to make the day go smoothly. When realising that they were a bit tight on time for keeping within their driving hours they also arranged to have a relief driver take us on the last leg from Dover to school.

Given the choice, I would have these drivers every time: I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Please do pass on my comments to their boss as I firmly believe that people should gain credit for doing such an excellent job. It's best summed up by a member of staff who, when in the tunnels at Vimy, said that she couldn't believe that she was getting paid to do this!

Underpinning all of this is the careful, thoughtful, thorough and often very patient, work that you do. I genuinely value your efforts and this is exactly why I have worked with you over several years now. It's often hassle working with parents at my end but never is there any difficulty in working with you. I shall be booking the equivalent trip, on the equivalent date for next year, and I already have members of staff asking to join us on the trip!” Dr Scot Smith-Bannister - History Teacher

• Ypres: “The excellent service that I have always had. I appreciate always dealing with Tracey rather than different individuals at different times as I have had at some other companies. Guides are good too.

Tracey and Glenn excellent as ever. Would be very happy to have Glenn again next year. He has great knowledge and makes a real effort to research pupils’ relatives. The drivers were friendly though and the coach comfortable and suited to the trip. Thank you for all your arrangements.” Andrew Baker - History Teacher
• Battlefield & History Tours[Ypres & The Somme]: A huge thank you for all your organisation for our battlefields trip. We got back this evening after a very successful three days that was thoroughly enjoyed by all children and teachers. Jon was an excellent guide, really interesting and he pitched everything perfectly for all the children and I would definitely love to request him as our guide for the next trip that we do, hopefully this time next year. Ash, our coach driver was also great and as with all these trips, it makes such a difference when you have a driver who is so willing and friendly. The Novotel after its revamp felt like a completely different hotel (very comfortable) but it worked very well, breakfast is a big highlight for all! Thank you too for booking both suppers and also organising the packed lunches; from our perspective everything worked brilliantly and I will definitely be planning next year's trip very soon. We obviously followed Phil's itinerary this year as I wanted to start again with something familiar but after chatting to Jon I would be really keen to put together a new itinerary for next year with Jon's input.
