The Kremlin
The famous Moscow Kremlin is a collection of stunning cathedrals, majestic squares, fortresses and monuments, including the Assumption Cathedral, Ivan the Great Bell Tower and many more historical treasures from Russia’s past.
The State Hermitage Museum
Housing one of the world's greatest art collections, the famous museum is housed within an extravagant set of buildings, including the magnificent Winter Palace with its marvellous state rooms.
St Peter & Paul Fortress
The first building in the city has had many uses over the centuries, including a military garrison, a burial ground for Russia’s Imperial family, a jail for political prisoners and a torture-chamber! The incredible Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral is a must visit.
Nevsky Prospect
Learn about the main street of St Petersburg on a walking tour and see the palaces, cafes, shops and street entertainment of one of Europe’s most fascinating boulevards first hand. Visit Gostiny Dvor, one of the world’s first shopping malls, built in 1785.
Yusupov Palace
This beautifully ornate building, situated next to the Moika River, is most famous as the location of Grigori Rasputin’s brutal murder. The preserved 19th century interiors showcase a huge range of architectural styles.
Lenin’s Mausoleum
Visit the resting place of Vladimir Lenin, lying in state since his death in 1924 in the heart of the city. Other notable figures buried next to the Kremlin Wall include Stalin, Brezhnev and Yuri Gagarin.
Gulag Museum
Discover the story behind the infamous Gulag, a system of labour camps for criminals and political dissidents that spread right across the Soviet Union. Learn about the fascinating stories of prisoners who were forced to develop remote areas by mining coal, building railways and erecting power stations.
Museum of Political History
The building which houses the museum itself played a significant role in history. This attractive art nouveau mansion was originally built for Mathilda Kshesinskaya, the prima ballerina at the Mariinskiy before the Revolution, and Nicholas II's mistress before he became Emperor.
Church of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood
Officially known as the The Church of the Resurrection, it’s more commonly named after the assassination of Tsar Alexander II, which took place here in 1881. The elaborate mosaics and five onion domes are truly breathtaking.
Museum of the Defense and Siege of Leningrad
This lesser known museum chronicles the harrowing 900-day siege of Leningrad in World War 2 by German Forces. The exhibitions reveal the haunting stories of survival, sacrifice and defiance by the city’s population.
What size groups do we cater for?
We have a minimum number of 10 paying passengers but no upper limit. We can split large groups across multiple coaches and hotels as required.
